Dramas I am watching
Here a list of asian dramas I am watching these days. It seems like I am more into Japanese dramas than Korean dramas for a change.
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (2010 Japan)

The drama just started! The anime and manga were really popular! The drama adapatation is very different from the original story, but it’s still good and funny. Sunako reaction is still very weird. I really like the little kid even though he is not in the original story! So cute! The story of 4 handsome guys living together in a mansion with a cute little kid (the owner’s). They have to turn the spooky scary gothic Sunako into a proper lady. Thinking about it, I never knew if they success…
Otomen (2009 Japan)

I havent read the manga, but it`s very cute. Otomen is the story of high school junior Asuka Masamune, a martial arts master whose masculine persona hides his secret love of shoujo manga, sweets, sewing, and cooking. When he instantly falls for the transfer student Miyakozuka Ryo, his secret is in danger of being exposed. At the same time, Miyakozuka Ryo is a girl who been raised as a guy and don’t do any girlish thing like cooking, cleaning… It was so funny when her father tell her to marry Asuka because he’ll make a great wife!
Atashinchi no Danshi (2009 Japan)

A fun series to watch. Chisato is homeless because of her father’s debt and the debt collector are after her because her father trick her to sign the loan. Somehow she is saved by a rich man who asked her to marry him and be the mother of his 6 adopted sons. The story is fun to watch since all the sons have issues and they’ll all learn to be a family. At the same time, the rich man is a toys’ inventor (has a toy company) and everything around him is weird. They live in a castle with full of trick and secrets door. All his little toys’ invention are related to his search to bring his family together, it’s very cute and funny.
Dragon Zakura (2005 Japan)

I was about to watch God of Study, the korean and new version of the Dragon Zakura manga, but I end up watching the Japanese version because Tomohisa Yamashita was playing in it. Hihihi. I watched few episodes, and so far it seems like it’s going to be something like Great Teacher Onizuka or Gokusen, but with a lawyer (ex motocicle gang rider). So he went to a low rated school which is supposed to go bankrupt, made the plan to do a special class with seniors and help them get into Tokyo University (no students from this school even been accepted to Tokyo University). I guess it will become interesting when they’ll get deeper in each student troubles.
