Cassandra Clare, the author of the The Mortal Instruments series, and Newsarama posted  several characters design of the upcoming graphic novels (manga) adaptation. I’m very excited to know that the comic will debut its first chapter on Free Comic Book Day, which is May 1st 2010!! I’ll be able to get one copy free!

As a manga reader, I’m a little disappointed that the design is more like American comic instead of Japanese manga. Well it is an American comic!! I have to face it! :P

Jace do look old and not as hot than when I read it… but some people said that he looks like Gabriel Aubrey, which is totally true! And Gabriel Aubrey is totally hot! I guess with colors and charms, it helps! I totally love Clary and Simon, they are close to how I imagined them.

    The Mortal Instruments novel series was definitely good. I can’t wait for her next novels.

    I haven’t read the Vampire Kisses, I almost did, but even though I love vampire, I try not to over do it with vampire or I’ll be sick of vampires for the rest of my life, hehe.
