The Vampire Diaries episode 9
We learned about Damon’s plan with the crystal. It was surprising!! Stephan and Damon had a romantic brother-brother evening and finally understand each other! Damon even said he won’t drink from a human for a week! WOW! Bonny is haunted by her ancestor while Caroline and Matt are getting closer.

It seems like in the past, a group was killing the vampires, so Damon went to Emily (Bonny’s ancestor and Katherine witch/servant) and asked her to save Katherine somehow. Emily then asked him to protect her family lineage in exchange. It seems like more than 20 vampires were trap in a church (Katherine included) and the human burned it, thinking they all died, but they didn’t. There was some tombs under the church and all the vampires were steal in there. With the crystal, it is now possible to release them. Damon only want to release Katherine, but all the vampires will be releases too. Now, in the present, Emily possessed Bonny and used her to destroy the crystal. Damon was devastated when the crystal was destroyed by Bonny. I wonder if he really wanted Katherine back or he wants to destroy the humans with all the new vampires.
Elena could finnally tell Bonny later about Stephan being a vampire. It would have made her feel better if Stephan didn’t decided just before that he will leave the town and her. I know it’s for her safety, but he is really not as romantic as Edward Cullen! 
I guess he’ll probably be back since it’s seems like there is a new vampire in town and he is after the history of the town. And somehow, one dead came back… A dead or someone who could change shape?
Also with the story with the vampires steal under the church, it can’t end like that… they’ll probably find a way to release them no? I wonder what Elena is to Katherine, they must be related, but how Katherine never die and had no babies?
I still wonder if I prefer how the TV series story is turning out compared to the original story which are TOTALLY different now.
