The chapter starts with Hachi naration saying that because she now have a child to take care of… because she have work to do… because she have penty of reasons to not immediately look for Nana… she guess it’s because she is afraid that Nana will spurn her outstretched hand…

So we see Hachi (present) shopping with Satsuki. Since Valentine is near, Satsuki wants to buy chocolate. Hachi is now curious about to whom Satsuki will give it. After lot of questions, Satsuki says it was Shin!

Hachi then meets with Jun, talking about Satsuki choosing Shin. She’s desparate since Shin did many bad things in the past and they have a big age gap. Then she talks about going to England with Satsuki. She’ll try to find Nana there. Jun then asks Hachi about ther divorce. It seems like she won’t spend the trouble to divorce since there is more reasons to not divorce.

Back home, Hachi get a call from Takumi who just found where the cafe is. The cafe where they found pictures of Nana (see past chapters). Before hanging out, Hachi asks about Ren, then Takumi says to not worry about him.

In a new scene in a park, Reira is singing a song then said “What a beautiful composition. Ren is a genius.” Then we see a little boy with a guitar! Make me wonder if he is named Ren or he just play something Ren wrote? And who’s child it is?? Shin? He looks like Shin… but when we saw Shin in the present, he didn’t talk about having a baby, etc… maybe he don’t know? Why name him Ren? :/ He looks around the same age than Satsuki… maybe a bit younger… so its a possibility that Reira got pregnant just before she got separate from Shin… He didn’t call her mummy or anything, so we don’t know about their relationship… why showing us those pages without saying more? Torturing us!? >_<

There is one month leave before Hachi leaves for England. She wants Nana to stay there, because she won’t run away again! What does it mean? Last time hachi couldn’t help Nana and ran away? Was it something about them thinking that Nana was dead? What happenned? I wonder if there was an accident…

Now back to the past, Nana and Hachi are in room 707 and Nana is receiving a Valentine cake from Hachi. When she was about to touch it, Hachi said to not eat it, because it’s for Nana to give it to Ren. Then Nana looks angry-sad. When Hachi asked if something happenned with Ren, she didn’t reply. Hachi knew about Nana being hurt because Ren refuse to help them, but she hoped for Nana to open up to her. Ren also seems to hope for that.

Takuki meets up with the other member of Trapnest and he asking Ren to make up with Nana. Its troublesome for him that Nana went back to room 707, since Hachi is always there now. Takumi also asked Reira to not help Ren run away from home. If Nana and Ren don’t get back together, she won’t be able to get back with Shin. She then reply that she won’t get back with Shin. Thinking about what I said earlier about Reira being pregnant of Shin… I wonder if it’s the reason why she said that!? But why she’d want to be separate from her child’s father? Maybe she was upset to know that he was with some other woman? I don’t think Reira is that jealous… he was with a lot of women when they started saying each other… plus they never really talked as if they were a couple, but we all know that they had feelings for each other.

Later Ren receive a mail from Hachi saying that Nana has reflected on her action and is sorry. She asked Ren to get her at room 707. Ren still looked sad. It is true? Or Hachi is just trying to get them together? Nana didn’t look as if she wanted to make up….

In the ending naration, Hachi says “I will look for Nana… not to seek her understanding, but because I love Nana. It’s that simple.”

We waited a long time before reading this chapter. I had a lot of questions before this chapter, I now have even more questions! I’m so confused! ^_^;
