The chapter starts with thoughts of NANA about her offer to go solo. She says that she initially came to Tokyo by herself in hope of making a name for her self, but now that she have an offer to go solo, she feel so uneasy that she’ll faint. When you think about it, the guys are pretty much in the band because of her. Yasu wanted to be a lawyer and even move to Tokyo because of her. Nobu could work for his parent, but prefer to play for NANA. It seems like he only wants to play for her. Otherwise, he’ll probably only play for himself… for Shin, he arrived later so he is not as attached to NANA. I guess she might feel like she will betray them if she do it. As when Ren left their band for Trapnest?

The girls are in a room, talking about this matter. Hachi think she shouldn’t hesitate and go for it. Since Blast will cease all activities, everybody has to think of their own future. Miu also says that it’s her best choice. Then Nana has a thought about Yasu, who may be suffering the most, since he did so much to bring Blast this far. She felt terrible to only think of her own feeling.

At Reira’s, Ren is drinking and don’t feel like leaving Rerai alone since he’s worried about her. Rerai replyed that he should worry about NANA since he was really mean to her. He replies that she must be furious since she was told by someone who left Blast. Reira replys that she’ll hate him even more, if she knew Ren was at Reira’s… then Ren have flashbacks of Nana yelling that she hates that Ren composed music for another woman. Then he replies that he is tired to coax her all the time… Then to door rings… it’s Takumi at the door. Ren tells Takumi that he’ll go take some drink at the lounge and he can take his time. Reira is shocked and blushing!

Takumi asks Reira if Ren knew about her and Shin. She kinda reply affirmatively. He says she should go to Ren’s… a place where she can meet with Shin. Reira is a little surprise. Takumi says that it’s the safest place, nobody will find it strange and they will want to meet up when Shin will be release. Then Reira says that it’s not what she wanted to happen and that Shin went into all those troubles because of her. Takumi says that it’s his fault that they are in this situation, he didn’t wish to deprive her of her happiness. He didn’t create Trapnest for that reason. I think he created Trapnest for her. There was some detail in Takumi’s story chapter… I am not sure about the kind of love he has for her, but he really feel good when he hears her sing.

Later we see Takumi meeting with Yasu. Takumi offers his condolences… He was there to get his wife. Then Takumi tells Yasu that Miu asked about Shion. Yasu is a little nervous, but Takumi says that he denied knowing Shion. Seeing Takumi, Hachi don’t want to go back yet, but Yasu tells her that it’s better that she goes home for now. They will visit her when things will cold down. So she prepare to leave asking Nana if she wants a ride, but Nana wants to stay to talk with Yasu.

Nana is now alone with Yasu. She tells him that she will go solo. Yasu looks happy. Nana says that if she goes solo, she’ll become very popular and she’ll get more fans… and she won’t let Blast dissolve. Yasu smiles and says thank you. Nana looks a little surprised then starts crying… thinking if she even done anything for Yasu. A simple thank you made her so happy. He always been so kind and gentle to her; she was frustrated at herself for taking advantage of him… for now on, she will sing, not just for Yasu, but for Hachi who always been by her side and her companions. If she keeps it in mind, she will not feel lonely even if she will be by her own. It’s alright, she’ll keep going.

Then Yasu went to see Miu. She asks about Nana’s answer about going solo. She also says that Yasu probably asked the manager for Nana to go solo. Yasu says that she see through everything, even about Shion. She is surprised. Then he asks why she asked Takumi and not him. Miu replies that she was testing him. She knew Takumi would tell him and wanted to see Yasu reaction. Since he spoke openly about this issue. he must be free of guilt. I guess she meant that nothing happened, etc. Yasu adds that they weren’t suitable for each other since she was his high school senior. Demoralised, Miu understands that there was still something between them… But hey, Miu is older than Yasu as well!!! Then Yasu added that it was before her and faithfulness is his principle. Upset (a side of Miu we don’t see often), she yells that they are still seeing each other. Yasu tells her that since Blast activities will cease, they won’t see each other. Then Miu calms down and apologizes to have lectured him. Yasu says that it’s fine and she should keep her feeling. I guess he was happy… ^_^ Then he says that he was tired, they can talk about it the next day and suddently fall asleep in her bed.

Now we’re at Nobu’s… he’s wonder what he should do, if he’ll still have work if he stay. His girlfriend (don’t remember her name!!) tells him that he can compose music and work won’t be an issue. He still looks worried. Maybe he don’t want to compose for someone else than Nana? I think he wants to play guitard more than composing… I wonder if he’ll stay with his girlfriend, or will break-up and to work with his parents… or maybe she’ll go with him? In the flashbacks, we know that Nobu is now working with his parent, but we don’t know about the girlfriend.

At night, Nana wasn’t in the mood to talk to Ren, so she went to room 707… in the morning her cellphone wakes her up, it’s Misato who wants to know if she needs anything. Nana doesn’t need anything. Everything that she left in room 707 is still at it’s place. All the things she got when she first came to Tokyo: her guitar, few pieces of clothes and her cigarettes. She leaves the apartment; she didn’t contact Ren and he didn’t contact her as well. Then she thought that she is not lonely, she went to bed briming with aspirations. I guess memories of her times with Hachi came back to her mind so she slept happy… I’m glad that Nana is motivate to go solo and do it for all her friends, not only thinking about her own feelings. Ren said he was tired of that… but hey, she is changing!!! Will he see that?? Will they meet again!?!? I wonder where Nana is going… she didn’t look like she’s running away, so she probably go preparing her solo carreer.

A chapter full of hopes.. I wonder how it turn out the way it is now… Next chapter is suposed to be published in August….
